When are the busy and slow months for junk removal?

Junk removal demand runs from March through August and is lowest in winter. Business Profile calls peak in May at about 1.37 times a normal month, organic clicks peak in August at about 1.33, and ad clicks peak in July and August at about 1.2-1.35. In the slowest winter months, all three fall to roughly 0.6-0.75 times normal.

Each business's month divided by its own 12-month average, then the median across businesses. Google Ads: 11 accounts, Jan 2023 - Sep 2026, against a centred 12-month average. Organic: non-brand clicks including hidden searches, 7 websites, Oct 2025 - Sep 2026. Business Profile: 16 profiles averaging 5+ call taps a month, Oct 2025 - Sep 2026. Organic clicks and profile calls track each other (correlation 0.68).

Ad prices through the year

Ad clicks are cheapest in July-September, about 7%-16% below a normal month, and priciest in May at about 8% above (11 accounts). Click prices don't rise with the summer rush.

Calls swing more than views

Business Profile views move less than calls, from about 0.8 to 1.2 times normal (19 profiles). Winter calls ran a median 0.6 times the previous summer at 12 of 14 profiles with both seasons, so the winter dip isn't just profiles growing over the year.
