Big Mountain Disposal: a one-page GoDaddy site rebuilt with a page for every dumpster, can and town
The old site put roll-offs, residential cans and commercial containers on one homepage with "call for rates". The new one gives every size its own page, covers 34 Central PA towns with only the services each one actually gets, and takes quotes, texts and bill payments online.

The business
Big Mountain Disposal
Big Mountain Disposal is a family-owned waste company in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, run by Jon Oberle. It rents roll-off dumpsters, runs weekly residential trash pickup and services commercial and industrial containers across Central PA.
It is two businesses in one: dumpster rental for projects, and route trash service for homes and businesses. Not every town gets every service, and the website had to say which is which.
The old site
What they had before.
Front end: what customers saw
- One page
- Residential cans, commercial containers and roll-off dumpsters were all described on the homepage. Roll-offs got one paragraph ("10 cubic yards and go up to 30"), with pricing left to a phone call.
- No town pages
- The archived site has no page for any town it served. Someone searching for a dumpster in Williamsport or State College had nothing specific to land on.
- Getting a quote
- A phone number and a general "Contact Us" form near the bottom of the homepage: name, email and a message box. It didn't ask for a phone number or which service or size someone needed, and there was no text option.
Back end: what Google and AI saw
- Platform
- GoDaddy Website Builder, with every image served from GoDaddy's own image servers.
- Structured data
- None. The homepage carried no business markup, so hours, address and service area were left for Google to read out of the page text.
- Title
- The homepage title was "Garbage Pickup Services". Dumpster rental, the other half of the business, wasn't in it.
What we built
The new site, piece by piece.
- Structure
- 71 pages in the sitemap: 22 service pages, 34 town pages, and the pages people check before they call: pricing, FAQ, reviews, gallery, a dumpster rental guide, what fits in the dumpster, and why choose us.
- A page per size
- Roll-offs from 10 to 30 yards, residential 64 and 100-gallon cans, and commercial containers from 1 to 8 yards each get their own page, alongside bi-weekly, one-time and extra trash pickup, bear-proof commercial dumpsters and industrial waste service.
- Town pages that know what's offered
- Each of the 34 town pages lists only the services that town actually gets. Castanea, for example, shows roll-off dumpsters and commercial service but not residential trash pickup.
- Quote, call or text
- Every page has call and text links, with a sticky call/text bar on mobile. The online quote form arrives pre-filled with the right service when someone lands from an ad or an old link, and requests forward to the company's lead system with the page and campaign they came from. A hidden field and a timing check screen out bots.
- Pay the bill online
- Existing customers pay through the company's billing portal, embedded on the site's own Pay Bill page, and the old /payment-portal address still works.
- Service updates
- A dedicated page for weather and holiday schedule changes, so route customers can check before they call.
- Reviews
- Real customer reviews from Google and Facebook, each labeled with where it came from.
- Old addresses
- The old URLs, including the ones the ads pointed to, redirect to the matching new pages, so no ad click or bookmark lands on a dead end.
- Schema
- LocalBusiness markup with the Lock Haven address, hours, geo coordinates, rating and the towns served.
