You connect your accounts once.
Bank and card feeds link to your books. Takes about ten minutes and you never do it again.
Hobson — The Books · Position 02
You’ll know by the 10th.
Hobson keeps your books. Every month you get a real profit & loss, a balance sheet, and a plain-English read on what actually changed. No phone calls. No chasing. No shoebox in April.
Most guys running trucks have no idea what a job actually costs them. Revenue looks fine, the account keeps moving, and the real number doesn’t show up until a tax preparer hands you a bill you weren’t ready for. That’s not a bookkeeping problem. That’s a flying-blind problem.

Not an email. Not a phone call. A short list at the bottom of your report. Answer it or don't.

Your tax preparer needs the whole year, not the part you started paying for. Catch-Up brings your books current from January forward at $200per month of backlog, quoted once we’ve seen your statements and paid up front. Bank and card records only — no receipt collection, no reconstructing what a charge was for.
Every one of these is on purpose. This stays cheap and fast because the scope doesn't move.
Your tax preparer, and they’ll thank you for it. Most operators hand over a shoebox and pay for the hours it takes to make sense of it. You’ll hand over a full year of books that are already current, already categorized, with your 1099 list already built. Don’t have someone? We’ll point you to a firm we work with.
Before you sign up
That's most of the guys we work with. Nothing to migrate, nothing to fix — we build it from your bank and card activity. If you're starting mid-year, Catch-Up brings January forward so the year is filable.
No. We provision and run it. You never log in and you're not paying a separate software bill.
Then your labor cost is invisible, and a report that hides your biggest expense isn't worth paying for. If the money moves through a bank account — check, Zelle, Cash App, direct deposit — you're fine. If it's currency out of pocket, this isn't a fit yet.
Common, and not a dealbreaker. Hobson codes consistently and flags what he can't place. He won't police it and he won't guess.
Not as part of this. Everything runs by email, answered within two business days. That's how the price stays where it is.
The items stay on it. Your reports still ship. Anything still open at year-end goes to your tax preparer as-is.
